The Bridge School News

Be creative and dress the part and/or bring in beach related items....books, beach toys, music, stuffed animals, dramatic play animals, etc.  Feel free to check in with any teacher for more ideas!! We will also have a bit of water fun!!

Valentine's Day fun is approaching us quickly!!  We are so excited for the "mailboxes" to be put out THIS Thursday 2/8 in the morning so the children can begin to deliver their special notes to each other!!

Our party fun is on Tuesday 2/13 and Wednesday 2/14 with special snack and viewing our valentines!!!

We hope all our families had a joyous holiday season!!  We are excited for a fun filled year in 2018!!

We wil be taking our Annual Fall Photos on WEDNESDAY, November 29th

If this is not your child's scheduled school day then please feel free to arrive around 10:00 am.  Please plan to hang out a bit as we work in your child's indvidual photo and then do a group photo!!

The PUMPKIN PATCH TRIP  has been RESCHEDULED for Wed. 10/25--9:15-11:00

We will depart the school by 8:45 (latest) so all children participating must be at the school by 8:30 unless you are meeting us there!!

Please turn in your Permission Slip THIS week so we can make sure we have enough drivers for this fun event!!

School Photos Postponed until November.....we will let you know the date when it is set!!

YES! YES! YES!  We continue to be open this week Monday 10/16 and going forward!!!

Thank you for your patience with our open/closure day to day updates during the past week of devastating events.

Miss Julie spent yesterday reaching out to ALL The Bridge School families in order to know their safety status and if they needed anything at this time.  She either spoke to them directly or left a message letting them know the latest updates and how to keep in the loop for future news....THIS website :)

Thank you to all of our wonderful families and children who have been patient with the horrific events that have taken place this week in our community.

They are fortunately something we have historically not had to manage, and obviously do not want to experience again. Moving foward, we wish to consider other ways to keep our Bridge School families in the loop as related to open/closure status. We welcome any input you have into how to develop a policy that makes sense for all.

As stated in the  previous news blog...our hearts go out to all our families during this difficult and sad time in our community.

Due to the Precautionary Advisory Volunteer Evacauation in our neighborhood last night we have decided to CLOSE the school TODAY 10/12 in order for our families to be together and take care of their own safety precautions at this time.

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the tragic fire situations in Sonoma County.

While I was unable to personally check on the Bridge School, I am in contact with a neighobor and received additional positive reports from other parents that the Bridge School is safe.

We obviously apologize for the inconvenience of not being able to open the Bridge School today. Given that most local school districts remain closed tomorrow, we will do the same such that we can all take care of the safety of those near and dear to us.

We hope to re-open on Wednesday.
